I’m Jaroslav Nečas, a Czech sound designer and re-recording mixer working across film, commercials, and other audiovisual projects. I studied film at Tomas Bata University in Zlín, where I developed both the technical and creative foundations of working with sound for picture.

My work covers several areas of production and post-production audio, including sound design, dialogue editing, final mixing, and production sound mixing on set. Thanks to this experience, I approach sound as a complete process — from capturing it during filming to shaping the final sonic character of a project in post-production.

I see sound as an essential storytelling tool. In my work, I focus on atmosphere, detail, and the relationship between image and sound, always looking for ways to support emotion and enhance the overall audiovisual experience.
